Four months after the Oscars incident, Chris Rock is making punchlines about Will Smith's infamous slap.

Rock reportedly addressed getting smacked by Smith as he co-headlined standup comedy shows with Kevin Hart in New York and New Jersey over the weekend.

After months of remaining mostly silent on the incident, the comedian "made a joke about Will during a bit about 'cancel culture,' joking that 'anyone who says words hurt has never been punched in the face,'" during his set at Madison Square Garden on Saturday (July 23), according to Entertainment Tonight.

Rock continued to reference the 2022 Academy Awards slap during his set at PNC Bank Arts Center on Sunday (July 24), US Magazine reports.

"I'm not a victim, mother****er," the Grown Ups star said. “… I don’t go to the hospital for a papercut.”

This weekend's comedy shows mark the first time Rock has publicly addressed Smith's slap, which occurred after the comedian joked about Jada Pinkett Smith's hair as he presented the award for Best Documentary during the 94th Academy Awards.

Rock had previously stayed relatively mum on the incident, only briefly referencing it during various standups over the past couple of months.

The King Richard star, meanwhile, has stayed out of the public eye since being banned from Academy events for the next 10 years.
