Brandy is dusting off her glass slippers to reprise the role of Cinderella in an upcoming Disney+ movie.

On Wednesday (March 22), Disney+ released an official first look of Descendants: Rise of Red, where Brandy will return as Cinderella 26 years after the 1997 television movie Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, per Variety.

The first look also confirmed that the new Disney+ film will mark the return of Paolo Montalban, who portrayed Prince Charming in the 1997 movie.

Disney’s Descendants franchise is based on the children of the most infamous movie villains. The first film debuted on Disney Channel in 2015, and two sequel movies have since been released in 2017 and 2019.

Additional cast members of the latest Descendants film include Rita Ora as the Queen of Hearts, China Anne McClain as Uma, daughter of The Little Mermaid's Ursula, and more. The Disney+ movie is set to highlight the relationship between Red, the daughter of the Queen of Hearts and Chloe, the daughter of Cinderella and Prince Charming.

A release date for Descendants: Rise of Red hasn't been announced, per Variety.
