Marcel Johnson, a Black father of five who documented his battle with stomach cancer on TikTok, has died at 32.
According to TMZ, Johnson died Monday (November 2) at 4:45 p.m., about 15 months after being diagnosed with stomach cancer in August 2025.
His wife, Taylor Johnson, announced his death in a social media post shared Monday, reflecting on his final hours.
“November 2 2026 @ 445pm. I lost a whole entire half of me. He fought so hard for so long. He was so tired & exhausted & in so much pain,” she wrote.
Taylor also recalled that Marcel's final words to her and his younger brother, Dedric, were, “I'm ready to go.”
“He still fought to hang on all day so we just got a bit more time,” she wrote.
“I truly don’t even have words right now. I feel like this can’t be real life. How can this be real fu**ing life. I thought I was going to wake up and he was still going to be here beside me.”
Taylor concluded,“I love him with my whole entire being and life will absolutely never ever be the same.”
A GoFundMe organized by Taiwan Jones is raising money to support Taylor and the couple's five sons following Marcel's death. The fundraiser, originally created to support his battle with stage 4 stomach cancer, has since been updated to help the family navigate their loss.
